Macquarie University Health is seeking service-oriented Patient Admissions Officers to join the Patient Services team at Macquarie University Hospital, located on the Wallumattagal Campus in North Ryde. With permanent full-time, permanent part-time and casual opportunities available, this is a genuine opportunity for dedicated and personable administrators to play a vital role in shaping the patient experience from the very first point of contact.
About the Role
The Patient Services team is central to delivering a seamless and positive journey for every patient, supporting key touchpoints including bookings, pre-admission, front desk reception, switchboard and inpatient admissions. In this role, you will ensure patients are welcomed, informed and supported throughout their admission journey, while completing all required administrative processes accurately and efficiently. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will liaise closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support the smooth operation of hospital services and uphold a consistently high standard of patient-centred care.
